Lizeth De La Luz

Lizeth De La Luz is a Mexican-American Poet based in Orange County, California. She holds an MFA from San Francisco State University where her poem “The Rio Grande” received the Ann Fields Award. She writes about the frustration of language barriers, learned barriers, and the anxieties of living/loving/birthing/grieving in a Mexican body in the United States. When not writing, she is contributing to making the publishing space more accessible.
