Lizeth De La Luz is a poet, writer, editor and educator from California. She holds a Creative Writing degree from Chapman University and is pursuing an MFA degree at San Francisco State University. She writes about the frustration of language barriers, learned barriers, and the anxieties of living/loving/birthing/grieving in a Mexican body in the United States.

I’m offering free workshops for emerging writers to help demystify the submission process. Why? Because getting your work out there shouldn’t be difficult and building an audience as an early writer can be intimidating but it doesn’t have to be. Let’s make the literary scene more accessible.
